Have been reading a lot of Cormac McCarthy and since Blood Meridian is supposed to be unadaptable as far as tv or film is concerned, I thought it would be cool to bring some of the imagery to life. The book is pretty horriffic but has some awe inspiring depictions of the natural world, and so I used some passages as direct inputs for Runway AI and this is the result of that. The song is Carthage by Hayden Pedigo.
