CONVERSE X VINCE STAPLES:
IN THE STUDIO
I spent a week with Vince Staples, his team, and a few world class producers at the recording studio inside Converse HQ in Boston, art directing a docuseries that captured the process of Vince recording new music for his forthcoming album Cry Baby. The goal was to build something that felt like a genuine, fly on the wall look inside the studio, not a brand video with an artist in it. We wanted this to be interesting to the general fan and the super fan alike. This project kicked off the relaunch of Converse's music department, Rubbertracks.
